DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRY
All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, teaching them everything that I have commanded you and remember I am with you always to the end of the age.

OUR VALUES IN THIS AREA OF MINISTRY INCLUDE:
- Growing in Biblical understanding
- Teaching Christian values to all ages
- Teaching the Presbyterian faith
- An active prayer life
- Creating an atmosphere for learning
- Biblical stewardship of time, talents, and treasures
GOALS:
During the next five years we will:
- Strengthen our support of Christian Education
Action Steps:
- Continue
to renovate building space in 16th Street property to increase
the youth annex space by September 2006
- Renovate old Sr.
High and Jr. High Youth rooms for children educational space by September
2007
- Develop resources and teachers for Adult Education
- Evaluate Adult Educational programming and secure additional space for
creation of more Adult classes as needed
- Conduct occasional educational weekend conferences for adults utilizing
outstanding Biblical scholars
- Establish a task force by September 2005 to evaluate the need for a
church preschool and report back to the Session by 2006
- Strengthen our Stewardship program
Action Steps:
- Create a year round Stewardship Program
- Emphasize the discovery and use of spiritual gifts
- Encourage the congregation to tithe
- Provide diverse, on-going small group opportunities for all ages
Action Steps:
- Offer additional retreats for all church participants
- Assess the need for creation of new diverse small group opportunities
and create them as needed
