Children's Music

Make a Joyful Noise

Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way they should go, and when they are old they will not depart from it.” At SACPC, we believe providing a musical envrionment in which our children can learn, grow, move, and serve is an important way to accomplish spiritual growth in each child’s life. Involving children in worship  can keep them involved as teenagers, and then continue on into adulthood.

Kindermusik (Birth – 7 years)

In each weekly class young children and families are led through engaging music and movement activities that bring joy and musical fun to the day! Classes are semester based and preregistration is required.
For fee details contact Cindy Litzinger.

m&m (Music and Mission)
Kindergarten – 5th grade

In m&m children experience music by singing, playing pitch and rhythm games, ringing handbells and playing
Orff instruments. They support our worship services with their musical talents on a monthly basis. In addition to their worship support, this group also supports various local ministries and missions with their time and talents.
This group meets Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30 pm September through May.

Christmas Musical
Kindergarten – 5 th Grade

Each fall our elementary children begin learning music, choreography and drama for the Christmas musical.
Our children look forward to sharing this gift and message each year with our congregation.  All elementary aged children are invited to participate – you do not need to be members of SACPC.
If your child wishes to participate or for more information, contact Cindy Litzinger.

Sonshine Choir (3 years – PreK)

This choir is comprised of our youngest members, who prove that you are never too young to share your talents and help to lead worship. The children play musical games, sing songs, and enjoy the gift of music that God has given.
This group rehearses several Sundays each month from 9:45-10:00 am September through May.
