Care and Counseling

Self Care and Care for Others

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

- Matthew 11: 28

Stephen Ministry
Trained caregivers for all kinds of hardships
Stephen Ministry is the one-to-one lay caring ministry that takes place in congregations that use the Stephen Series system. Stephen Ministry congregations, such as SACPC, equip and empower lay caregivers—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.
The Community Counseling Center’s mission is to provide hope and healing for all. The staff is dedicated to serving the children and adults in our community. Cost should never be a barrier to care so a sliding scale payment option based on need is available.
Homebound
Making sure EVERYONE is involved in worship
SACPC matches compassionate individuals with our homebound members in a mutually caring relationship that includes visits, phone calls, cards, etc. Twice a year and upon request, homebound members can receive communion in their residence. Homebound members also receive a weekly mailing from the church and may receive a recording of the worship service upon request.
