Musical groups at St. Andrews-Covenant PC(USA) strive to connect with our community and inspire others through music. During worship and musical practice, we honor God by offering Him our very best preparation and positive spirit with our musical abilities. We have opportunities to learn and serve as musicians of all ages. If you are interested in musical instruments or singing, be it classical or contemporary, we have a place for you!

Cindy Litzinger

Director of  Music
Cindy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education (K-12) and has been performing and teaching music to young children and adults for over 30 years.  She holds certifications in Kindermusik, Orff and the Handbell Musicians of America.

Angela Burns

Choral Director
Angela Burns, a professional vocalist & conductor, has a diverse musical background that has afforded her opportunities to work with many talented musicians across the US.   A church music director for over 30 years, she loves coaching musicians while serving the Lord as a musical vessel.  Most recently she established the first professional choir of New Hanover County, Wilmington Voices. In her downtime, you might find her studying music, hiking, traveling, working in her yard, or walking the beach with her husband Cory & their dog Linden.

Matthew McDonald

Contemporary Worship Leader
Matthew McDonald has over two-decades of experience in the music industry. Originally from Sydney, Australia, Matthew has traveled the world as a performer, choir conductor, and recording artist.  He is the proud partner and husband to Jennifer, a business owner, and publishing industry executive. Together they have two children, Elden (son) and Aslyn (daughter), and are excited to be part of the SACPC family, call the greater Wilmington area home, and welcome the beach life of NC.

Sara Bryant

Organist
Sara Bryant has been a church musician for over 50 years and still absolutely loves it. She was also an elementary school teacher for 30 years, a career in which she had the privilege of teaching children to read. Sara is a member and past dean of the Wilmington Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.

Elizabeth Gray

Kindermusik Educator
Elizabeth Gray is a wife and mom of 3 boys and has always had a passion for music and a love for teaching. Elizabeth has a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and M.A. in School Counseling. As a member of SACPC since 2015, she has been a member of the contemporary worship team. Elizabeth is so excited to teach new and familiar faces!
